Check a Minnesota doctor’s license and discipline history

· first slice · Oct 30, 2026

Read this first. This page republishes the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice’s public action list as-is. Names can match more than one person — always confirm with the license number in the Board’s Professional Profile search, where the original public order PDFs live. Many entries are later followed by an “Unconditional License” order, meaning restrictions were lifted. Entries marked corrective are Corrective Action Agreements, which the Board states are not disciplinary action. Not legal or medical advice. Our copy may lag the Board by weeks; the Board’s records control.

Board of Medical Practice Professional Profile

Who this covers

The Board of Medical Practice licenses physicians (MD/DO), physician assistants, respiratory therapists, athletic trainers, acupuncturists, genetic counselors, naturopathic doctors, telemedicine registrants and traditional midwives. Nurses, dentists, pharmacists and others are licensed by separate boards and are not included yet.

How to read an action

Method

We download the Board’s public PDF list and convert each line to a row, keeping the Board’s own wording. We do not add, infer or summarize allegations. About 10 lines in the PDF with unusual formatting are not yet parsed and are omitted; check the Board for completeness. Coming later: a doctor search that combines license status (CMS NPPES), hospital affiliations and this list.
